- Fabric Structures
What the client needed, and what we built.
Pattons design, fabricate and install large-scale fabric structures for major events and venues across Australia. Their work sits at the Australian Open and the Australian Grand Prix, including a 1,000sqm, 10m-high pavilion at Albert Park. Structures at that scale are genuinely impressive standing underneath them and almost impossible to convey in a single photo. Their social presence wasn't doing the engineering justice.
We run their social across all platforms, with the content calendar mapped to their project schedule rather than a posting grid. Installs happen on tight timelines and often inside live event windows, so access has to be cleared and shoots planned well in advance. We work off their build calendar, which means we're on site at the right moment rather than asking for one. We film the builds as they progress, so each structure is documented as a journey from first frame to finished install. Recent work spans the launch of the IC8, an 8m inverted conic, through to their event builds at the Open and the Grand Prix.
the result
Our content helped Pattons win awards and secure the Australian Open and F1 tenders for 5-10 years.
